Patrol Division - District 2

The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office District 2 Patrol Division is responsible for all patrol duties assigned by Sheriff Tommy Gage, in the unincorporated portion of South Montgomery County. The District 2 Patrol area surrounds District 6, (The Woodlands Township). District 2 borders Harris County along the South of the Montgomery County line, borders District 3 along the San Jacinto River, up to the Conroe City Limit, and then runs west bordering the District 4 and District 5 lines, into Magnolia, past FM 1488 and FM 2978. Currently there are twenty two commissioned peace officers assigned to the District 2 Patrol Division, along with one clerical position. There is one Lieutenant, three Sergeants, three Corporals, and fifteen Deputies.

District 2 Deputies ran a total of 26,086 calls for service, took 4,082 reports, issued 1,417 traffic or class, “C”, citations, issued 1,118 traffic related warnings, and travelled 451,165 miles in patrol vehicles during the 2009 year. District 2 adopts a, “can do”, attitude, working with the community, homeowners, and businesses, to solve law enforcement problems within the county. The District 2 staff is committed to using the resources available, not only to respond to calls for service, but to take a pro-active stance against criminal activity, in South Montgomery County, preventing crimes before they occur, or taking action against law violators as crimes are being committed.
