Currently ground has been broken on the new Spring Creek Greenway Complex, which will house the new District 2 main patrol office. The complex will be located on the East side of Riley Fuzzel Road, at Spring Creek, at the Montgomery County/Harris County border, adjacent to the Peckinpaugh Preserve. The Spring Creek Greenway Project is a project intended to connect and protect up to 12,000 acres of forest on both sides of Spring Creek, preserving and creating a mecca for ecotourism, education, and outdoor recreation. This project spreads over both sides of Spring Creek, covering both Montgomery and Harris Counties. District 2 is currently in charge of the law enforcement and patrol aspects of the Montgomery County Side. Sergeant Dwayne Finley is charged with the running of this program, which includes an all terrain vehicle patrol of the area. If you have any questions or concerns involving the law enforcement aspect of the Spring Creek Greenway Project, please contact Sergeant Dwayne Finley at (281)-297 6530. |
