District 2 is additionally dedicated to assisting the community in aspects other then law enforcement. Tours of the offices for interested groups (ex. Scouts, school functions) are offered. Deputies certified in Crime Prevention can be called upon for residential and business inspections. District 2 supervisors are involved in the training aspect of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Citizen’s Academy, and additionally are involved in other training classes offered in the South Montgomery County Area. District II Deputies will perform, “vacation watches”, if requested. If wanting a vacation watch performed at your residence, please contact the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office Communication Division at (936)-760-5800, and they will take your information. They will pass the information to the District 2 units needing to perform this service.
