The “mission” of the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Division is to provide support to all divisions of the Sheriff’s Office, as well as surrounding agencies, in apprehension, detection and deterrence of criminal activity.   Through realistic and continuous training the K-9 Division promotes teamwork, integrity, pride, honor and leadership.  Each member of the K-9 Division strives to maintain officer safety and preserve the quality of life for all citizens of Montgomery County.

Handler David Everton - K9 Ranger - German Shephard, born December 2007. Certified in American Working Dog and National Narcotic Detector Dog Association.

Handler Mike Uber - K9 Bowie - Belgian Malinios, born November 2007. Certified in American Working Dog and National Narcotic Detector Dog Association.

Handler David Birch - K9 Argo - German Shepard, born 2007. Certified in American Working Dog, National Narcotic Detector Dog Association, and United States Police Canine Association.

Handler Lynise Marshall - K9 Hap - Chesapeake Bay Retreiver, born 2008.
