Captain Henderson
Captain Henderson began his law enforcement career with the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office (MCSO) in 1994. He was hired after his completion of the Texas Peace Officer Academic Licensing Academy (TPOALA), which was co-hosted by the MCSO and Sam Houston State University. His first duty assignment was as a patrol deputy in The Woodlands. Henderson promoted through the ranks and has held the positions of Patrol Deputy, Patrol Corporal, Patrol Sergeant, Lieutenant with assignments to Administration, Patrol, and Internal Affairs, and he was ultimately promoted to Captain in August 2009. Captain Henderson holds Bachelor of Science (1994) and Master of Science (2007) degrees in Criminal Justice from Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas. He is a graduate of the Law Enforcement Management Institute of Texas (LEMIT) Leadership Command College, session #48, and a graduate of the FBI National Academy held in Quantico, Virginia, session #232. Captain Henderson also serves as an adjunct professor of Criminal Justice at the Lone Star College - Montgomery campus.
